Hey everyone
It is freaky how this has crept up on us, i thought it always seemed in the future, now its suddenly becoming the present. Well as for the bike i am all set, i have everything i need to do the cycle, its all down to me now, and my good friend Mr Gibson. We are the chosen men who will undertake the cycle. Its looking like i will complete a festival down here in Cornwall for the national trust then begin the cycle on the 8th of August, planning to complete it within the month in 21 days.
So lets not forget the reason for the cycle, i have now managed to raise over £800 with amazing sponsorship and help from my friends, I'm hoping i can push that £1000 by the end of it, i know there are alot of people who don't think i will be bale to do the ride, i may be one of them but i am relishing the opportunity to prove them wrong. I will get to John O Groats if i have to cycle through the night to do it.
I have been slow in mentioning my friend Mr Gibson and how he has stuck to this challenge. I know he must have wanted to throw the towel in many times, but he has shown that he believes this is a cause worth his blood sweat and tears.
I look forward to writing one more of these with Johnny before we set off.
